Flowers and offerings are ways you can show gratitude to your guides and ancestors for all the work they do in the spirit world. Dia de los Muertos is a day reserved for remembering the dead in our family. I like to have my altar ready starting the weekend before November 2. I add family but I also add a little picture of Selena, I love her that much yall LOL! This year I think I am also going to add Juan Gabriel because he was such a huge force in my family. So much so that my childhood is filled with his music in every corner and every family celebration. I hope you all take some time to remember your loved ones and how they impacted us. Despite their physically presence being gone, their energy will forever be felt.
