Rerouting... Please Wait (Part 1)

Lately, I’ve been navigating a season of redirection. I have this deep desire to grow and expand into new territories, yet I find myself still doing more of the same. Yes, things have evolved (looking at you, Ask the Cards!), but I can’t shake the feeling that I’m meant to take it further.

It’s not writer’s block exactly—I have ideas. But if an idea doesn’t wow me, I don’t want it. Simple as that. 😂 So, redirection has been the name of the game lately, and since I promised to share what I’ve learned… well, here I am.

So yeah, redirection is not for the weak. It forces you to take a hard look at where you’ve gotten complacent and flip it upside down. And let’s be honest—complacency is comfortable. It’s easy to settle when things feel “good enough,” but the truth is, your dreams and goals cannot survive in that space. Growth requires discomfort, and who actually wants to be uncomfortable? Not me! But here I am, realizing that some of my old comforts are just taking up space, like watering a dead plant that isn’t coming back to life.

This is just part one of what I’ve been learning about redirection, and trust me—there’s more to come. This journey isn’t something you figure out overnight, which is why I’ll be breaking it down into a two or three-part series. But for now, let’s just marinate on this first piece.

Redirection is a process. It’s uncomfortable, it’s frustrating, and sometimes it feels like you’re walking in circles instead of moving forward. But don’t expect to be rerouted like you’re using Maps on your iPhone—bam, done in two seconds. Real change doesn’t work like that. It takes time, patience, and a willingness to sit with the discomfort. But you can do it. I believe in you. And if I believe in you—well, that’s kind of a big deal.
